OK, I know cardio gets a little boring. I really don’t understand the benefit of changing machines in the middle of a cardio session. I see people all the time doing 30 to 40 mins on a machine just to jump off and cool down and walk to another machine and start all over again. I love to mix it up too, but that means elliptical today, treadmill tomorrow. I think you need to get on one machine, work it and keep your heart rate in the target zone for your training goal, then change it up during your next workout. There are so many variations of movements you can do while on a piece of cardio equipment it’s unreal. Use you imagination and learn how to stimulate different areas during your cardio session and you’ll get maximum benefit from each and every cardio session.
